We assume others show love the same way we do — and if they don’t, we worry it’s not there.

Everyone has their own love language. That’s one of the most important lessons I’ve ever learned.  (via c-oquetry)

This is true, but I feel like it’s also really important to keep in mind that if someone isn’t showing love in a way that’s fulfilling to you, if all you have to go on is faith and trust that they actually love you because they’re not demonstrative in a way that is validating and meaningful to you, that’s probably not a healthy relationship. Love is not just a feeling, it’s a behavior too. Don’t use advice like this to convince yourself to stay with someone who isn’t right for you.

I honestly love drunk girls so much, last night I was at a party and a girl started crying because she loved my hair

One time in college, I had a fight with my boyfriend and was sitting outside crying, and a drunk girl came over and gave me a leaf to make me feel better.

I know Ringo has been sober for years, so I joked, “C’mon, Ringo, have a whiskey.” Ringo looked at me for a second and says, “What, and end up looking like you?” I deserved it.
